The real gap
A ranking is not a patient.
The local demand exists. The leak usually happens between the search result, the page and the person who answers the phone.
Search
Search is not demand
A top-three position is not a diary. Start with the treatment, the town and the questions that actually come before a call.
Page
A page is not a decision
Patients compare fees, suitability, aftercare and the clinician. If the page avoids those questions, the enquiry goes elsewhere.
Reception
A form is not a consultation
Booked, attended and started are separate events. We count them separately or report them as unknown.
The pilot
One treatment. Two pages. Ninety days.
Narrow by design. One treatment family makes the baseline readable, the reporting honest and the clinical approval manageable.
In scope
- Baseline and access inventory
- Technical and local search triage
- Google Business Profile accuracy fixes
- One main treatment page, clinician-approved
- One cost and consultation page
- Up to two supporting patient-question pages
Out of scope
- Ad spend or PPC management
- Full website redesign or rebuild
- CRM replacement
- Unlimited pages
- Clinical advice of any kind
- Patient calling or routine call recording
Quoted separately if it is the honest answer.
Delivery
The work, in four gates.
Client approval delays move a milestone through a recorded change, not a silent failure.
Days 1–14 · Baseline and access
Record the starting state
URLs, indexation, page speed, contact paths and Google Business Profile accuracy. Agree the enquiry definitions, the clinical approval route and the privacy workflow. Run approved tracking tests.
Days 15–45 · Discovery and the two key pages
Build the pages that carry the decision
Fix high-priority local and technical problems. Create or substantially improve one main treatment page and one cost-and-consultation page, both clinician-reviewed before publication.
Days 46–75 · Supporting answers
Close the questions around the treatment
Add up to two patient-question or clinician-and-aftercare pages where they are justified. Connect the internal links and review what happens to an enquiry when it reaches reception.
Days 76–90 · Reconcile and decide
Say what the data supports
Reconcile the counts you can support, finish the page improvements, document the limits and give you a written continue, change or stop recommendation. Ninety days is an evaluation window, not a finish line.
Evidence, labelled
We will not borrow a UK dental case study.
Here is the uncomfortable part. We do not have a UK dental case study to show you. We have an established SEO delivery team in India and approved evidence from that market. It shows how we work. It does not tell you what an implant enquiry costs in your town.
India · SEO delivery
“This example is from our work in India. It shows how we addressed local visibility and measured enquiries. UK demand, competition and conversion costs differ, so we will establish your baseline before setting targets.”
Transferable delivery, not a UK dental result.
No invented dental screenshots, fake locations, fabricated reviews or implied UK dental client base.
The team
One UK owner. One delivery team.
You always know who owns the relationship, who does the work, and who signs the clinical copy.
UK account lead
One accountable owner
Relationship, UK-hours communication, access, approvals and escalation. One named person, not a shared inbox.
India SEO delivery
Established delivery
Baseline, technical priorities, implementation tickets, reporting accuracy and a documented handover.
Writer and implementer
Build, stage, roll back
Research-supported drafts, approved edits, staging, QA and a rollback record before anything goes live.
Your clinical approver
The clinician signs
Accuracy, credentials, prices, treatment claims, alternatives and the version approved for publication.
The boundary
MarkFluent owns discovery, page implementation and reporting. The practice owns clinical assessment, patient conversations, fees, scheduling and treatment decisions.
Data by default
No patient data in analytics URLs or public AI tools. Aggregate counts are enough; where patient-level reconciliation matters, the practice performs it internally and passes anonymised totals.
Measurement
Six numbers, agreed before work starts.
Attribution is not incrementality. We do not label every treatment start as SEO-generated revenue.
| Outcome | What is counted |
|---|---|
| Relevant visibility | Consistent treatment queries, recorded with location and device. A sampled ranking is not every patient’s search. |
| Enquiry | A genuine inbound request, de-duplicated for spam, repeat contacts and test submissions. |
| Qualified enquiry | Agreed non-clinical fit: treatment requested, catchment, contactability and intent. Suitability stays a clinical decision. |
| Booked and attended | Separate counts taken from the practice system, not assumed from a form submission. |
| Treatment accepted and started | Acceptance and start date recorded separately, with cohort lag and collection uncertainty shown. |
| Acquisition cost | Agreed fees and approved tools divided by the one outcome named in the report. |
A form submission is not a booked appointment. A booked appointment is not a treatment start.
The buying group
Four people have to say yes.
Each card is the risk that actually stops a pilot, and the control that answers it.
Principal / owner
Risk. Return on spend, agency trust, and whether the diary can absorb new starts.
Control. One treatment focus, transparent scope, and evidence labelled with its country and dates.
Practice manager
Risk. Another supplier creating work, slow approvals, disrupted systems, unclear responsibility.
Control. A named account owner, an access checklist, minimal workflow change and a written approval timetable.
Treatment coordinator
Risk. Unsuitable enquiries, repeated fee questions, missed callbacks and no-shows.
Control. Clear treatment and fee information on the page, agreed enquiry definitions and a callback process the practice owns.
Clinical lead
Risk. Misleading claims, wrong credentials, inappropriate expectations, overselling.
Control. Clinician-reviewed drafts, suitability caveats, referenced evidence and versioned sign-off before publication.
Commercial
£4,500. Priced like a decision, not a retainer.
Three months. One location. One treatment family. A written recommendation at day 90.

What is not included
- Ad spend or PPC management

Fit
This works when the practice can act on it.
It is for you if
- Owner-led independent private or mixed practice, one to three locations.
- Implants or clear aligners already offered by appropriately qualified clinicians.
- The owner confirms assessment slots are available — capacity is not inferred from a booking calendar.
- A named clinician can approve patient-facing copy before publication.
- Website and Google Business Profile access, plus willingness to report anonymised outcome counts.
- The practice can fund the full pilot without depending on immediate new revenue.
It is not for you if
- No private appointment capacity, no named clinical approver, or no ability to act on enquiries.
- Expectations of guaranteed rankings, guaranteed patients, fabricated reviews or fake locations.
- Urgent clinical, reputational or regulatory issues that marketing cannot solve.
- Large corporate procurement as a first engagement.
- A practice that needs results next week.
Questions
The answers we give on the call.
We already have an agency.
We can assess one specific gap without replacing them, provided the scope and access do not conflict. If your current provider covers it well, we will say so.
You have no UK dental results.
Correct. We have an established delivery team in India and approved evidence from that market. It shows how we work, not what UK demand or conversion costs will be. The pilot is designed to establish your baseline before anyone sets a target.
Can you guarantee patients?
No. We commit to agreed implementation and transparent reporting. Demand, clinical suitability and treatment acceptance sit outside an agency’s control.
It is too expensive.
Review the scope against contribution per treatment start. We would rather reduce scope than preserve unlimited work at a loss. The £4,500 covers three months of defined delivery, not an open retainer.
Will you need patient data?
Preferred answer: no. Aggregate counts supplied by the practice are enough. Where patient-level reconciliation matters, the practice performs it internally and passes anonymised totals.
What happens at day 90?
You get a written continue, change or stop recommendation, the finished work and a handover. Accounts stay in your ownership either way.
Bring the local numbers. We will start with the baseline.
Thirty minutes on private treatment priorities, available capacity, and the reporting your practice cannot currently produce.
